Adani Total Gas Revenue Jumps 34% in Q2FY27 to Rs 2,109.65 Crore

The company's revenue from operations rose 33.8% YoY to Rs 2,109.65 crore, up from Rs 1,576.38 crore in Q2FY26, while net profit increased 5.9% to Rs 173.27 crore. EBITDA grew 12% to Rs 340 crore, fueled by higher CNG and PNG volumes and pipeline expansion. Adani Total Gas added 16 CNG stations, boosted PNG home connections by 39,574 to 11.81 lakh, and expanded its steel pipeline network by 318 inch-km to 16,305 inch-km. Its joint venture IOAGPL saw pan-India CNG/PNG volumes rise 18% YoY to 529 MMSCM. The company also expanded EV charging points to 5,513, with 4,809 operational, and sold 460 tonnes of compressed biogas in H1 FY27.

The growth underscores Adani Total Gas's strengthening position in India's city gas distribution market, with combined CNG and PNG volumes rising 12% YoY to 315 MMSCM. The expansion into e-mobility and biomass aligns with India's energy transition goals, though reliance on volatile gas prices and currency depreciation remains a risk. Investors and customers benefit from the expanded infrastructure, while competitors face increased market share pressure.

The company's performance is vulnerable to macroeconomic uncertainties, including elevated Brent crude and spot gas prices, as well as reduced allocation under the administered pricing mechanism. Opportunities include capturing urban gas distribution market share and leveraging growth in EV charging and biomass sales. The results highlight the company's operational resilience amid challenges.

Adani Total Gas's strong Q2FY27 results reflect robust growth in energy and e-mobility solutions, but sustained demand for CNG/PNG and EV infrastructure remains the key uncertainty.
